Here in tampa Fl, its very humid so rust is a problem with classic rides.

Hell yeah. I pulled the carpet up and the floorboards are rust free and look like they were painted yesterday from the factory. That’s rare for an almost 50 year old car, but it’s from Los Angeles so that’s the reason. It’s dry here so things last.

Awesome, you know its a good car when its old and still daliy driven awesome!

Yeah I mean the paint has some dings cuz it’s old but I kinda like it this way because I drive it every day. I have all the new parts; carpet, upholstery, trim ready to be slapped on but right now I’m just putting together the mechanicals. Not in a rush. I bought it for 6 grand and I already got about 10 grand or more into it. New cars are like 30 K + so investing 20 K or more into an old car ain’t nothin’. These cars are dinosaurs now - You don’t see them very much.

Awesome, I always liked the rods the best especially the rats or just a nice kustomed car. We need more of those here in florida. Nothing here but old people and their brightly easter egg painted cars on trailers

it’s an original black plate California car, lowered two inches, all stock with the exception of a Holley carb and Magnaflow mufflers out the back. Looks and sounds kick ass. People always make comments to me or want to buy it.

  7. skatepunkzero on February 8th, 2010 9:38 pm

    is it a rod?

< think that composing artists don't tweak other peoples riffs infact your fucking retarded some do have a lot of originality, and inventor traits some you wonder where it came from and how they were inspired or driven to create such but it always gets recycled. music is totally recyclable unless your me and get a bunch of shitty albums for christmas and fuckin lose em all cuz they suck

  9. dethovagene on February 8th, 2010 9:38 pm

use your own god damn head, the ramones were good but its not like all there riffs appeared out of thin air. i’m a guitar player and to hear someone say use your own god dam riffs and only your god dam riffs is sac-religous to my religion. you think marky or deedee or who ever the fuck it was just grabbed a guitar and started playin blitzgreg right away no he probably didn’t he probably was just strummin a faster version of some bob dylan song or a basic blues. your an idiot if you actually >

on a further note most punk rock and mainstream music follows patterns invented during the baroque era. you can’t write a song like this without ripping someone from the past. the only music that is still developing and evolving is metal it is as relevant today as mozart was in his. btw i’m pretty sure all the ramones are dead what are you gonna do sue for them? they don’t even give a fuck and they probably dig this track. so stop being such an obsessive self prophecy fulfilling bitch.

    NICE!!! I’m jealous!

  15. rtclayton86 on February 8th, 2010 9:38 pm

@ramoneFreek jesus christ, really? first of all, “beging”?

second, both songs travel down a scale, in a different key. since when is that copying? every artist uses scales so i guess everyone is copying off each other? aside from that riff, the songs are nothing alike.

third, life’s a gas was released in 95. when the angels sing was recorded in 95, so i highly doubt that mike ness intentionally did anything to copy off the ramones, seeing as he probably hadn’t even heard life’s a gas yet.
