all of social d’s songs are awesome and this is just another one to add to the list =D
Social D is great like that. Their music is like a salve for the soul. Ball & Chain helped me get through a break up. I swear I would go apeshit with out their music.
Pink Floyd, Ozzy, yes. Metallica, eh, maybe, before the black album. The rest of those artists don’t even come close to best of anything. Social D IS one of the best ever, 29 years on, they’re still going strong.
That tune reflects exactly what I’m going through now. My friends turned out to be fucking backstabbers. This song helps me to go through it with a distance and light heart. Thank You, Mike!!!!!
Great band, but best band in the world? They are good and talented, but look at Pink Floyd, Metallica, TOOL, Rage Against The MAchine, Nirvana, Ozzy, Dave Mathews. Every band is good in their own way, to say that one is the best in the world, well thats a matter of personal opinion. And for the guy who said that Social D. is like a modern day Beatles, then I would have to agree on that.
it is so great. Social D. is the best band of the world.
rock on
fuck em all
lets face it Social D is pretty much the PR
American Beatles!
live at the roxy is probably my favrote album!
its just so fucking good!
i wish that when the angels sing would been on there
Fuckin best song ever!!!
I know a lot of assholes and I live in oc maybe I know him!
friends who are fake
whos this song about?????
I am aware that there is a sound (often consisting of 3 chords with exceptions in bands such as X) that represents the minimalism used in punk to get messages across. I didn’t say they all sound the same. They really don’t. I’m talking about influence. You can’t say that GreenDay doesn’t owe a lot to Social D(especially on albums like “Warning”.) I’m saying that influence can go very far. If I wasn’t a fan, I wouldn’t analyze that influence. Deciding who’s a fan defeats the purpose of punk.
man why is social d soooooooooooooooooo awesome man i love them My Favorite Band For Sure
It could also be about a MILLION chicks I’ve known in my life.
Once again, thanks for being the voice of my childhood in OC Mike.
See you down @ the car wash on 17th in Costa Misery.
Social Distortion means so much to me. Like, spiritually they have impacted my life. It’s so complex, I don’t think words could explain it.
man, i am 31 years old, i never listened to Social D till now. i was missing out big time!!! great music!!
god i love them there fucking amazing
Are they really? Or are they part of the same GENRE and you can’t tell the huge differences in sound apart? You must not be a fan of the genre cause I only run into that generic “they all sound the same” saying coming from people who don’t listen much.
They are pretty good live
