Rest in peace Claudia my love. I will see you again someday.
im 15 and saw him twice last year
he started both shows with this!
awesome
I went to one of his concerts yesterday (14/06/2009) and he started the show with this song like he did here and i must say it was bloody fantastic. Go Elton - He always puts on a gr8 show.
Que sentimientos, qué sensibilidad, que emotividad, ¡QUÉ RABIA! Cómo se puede expresar tanto con la música. Sólo Elton John sabe hacerlo……………….
Sometimes I forget just how great Elton John is! Thanks for posting a live version that wasn’t boot legged or taken of the tele….sounds fantastic!
Epic..
Elton RULEZ !!
Was so into it…sad it cut off
This is 1 of THE Best rock tunes of All time! Hasnt waned in 35 years, and Elton Still brings it. Cheers
Nothing beats a show at MSG!
i think ita the arp oddisey 2600 they were temperental and would go out of tune before they were figured out
Elton rules.
The same thing happend right after my Dad’s Funeral. This song hold a real special meaning to me for that and i loved it even before then
elton john is a legend!
I hope to meet him when he’s just playing around in some old pub,….
Not likely mate, he’s one of them now.
What do’ya mean, one o them,…?
He’s become a ICON.
We’ll then, I just catch him on the telli, …say how’s Bernie? do ya suppose we’ll meet him for a pint?
The most impressing place is there he shouts like a male cat : aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…. !!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaa…. !!!!!
oh I love you so much Elton ;*
extremely touching. Thaks for the comment.
Agreed, mate.
That buzzy, brassy ARP that comes in @ 0:41 is just the Bomb, even to this day. And the whole piece shows that Elton certainly had talent as an arranger as well as a writer of pop songs, as he beautifully melded this whole song together. Brings back lotsa memories, and still sounds great today. Thanks for the video !!! Peace:)
My best friend died 10 years and after the graveside service. I got in my car to leave and as soon as I started the car, this song began to play on the radio from note one. Every hair on body stood straight up and still does thinking about it. It is very rare to hear this song on the radio.
Thanks for posting the video. My dad is in heaven now and this song reminds me of my best friend that I lost…my dad!
ill see him when he is not playing stadiums
it practically does
at least at the 2 shows i went to last yr =)
Great! It´s amazing, that they can do it with TWO drum sets!
This is amazing. I only wish I had half the talent.
An incredible rock song! But also a sentimetal song! Love it!
