Muse version of Adam Lambert’s upcoming song-Soaked (written by Muse), copyright to MUSE AND OTHERS. And Rolling Stone for the fabulous cover. NOTE: Like a dunce I uploaded this BEFORE listening LOL because I wanted to get it up for those who couldn’t listen, that’s why it’s a bit misleading. SORRY ABOUT THAT. I hope the whole “MUSE VERSION” thing is caught. Also, info source: twitter.com AND this was found by someone at ONTD.

Adam DID NOT WIN American Idol! Winners are usually more mainstream. Check Adam Lambert FYE and there is a 30 seconds snippet and Soaked sounds fantastic! Adam’s new coming CD’s has the best songs writers and producers any one could dream of, why do you think that they would do it if they did not believed Adam is worth of it, most of them don’t need the cash. They love Adam and see his incredible potential! Check him out before putting him down because his was on AI!

the song was actually recorded after black holes and matt said it sounded too much like USoE or something and they left it in the drawer. something like that. so they gave the song to that dude.

I don’t give a shit. He’s a nobody who won American Idol, which means nothing, he is nothing and no matter who claims to like him, he still means nothing. No American Idol winner will ever amount to anything, it’s a fluke the fat one from the first one is still around, other then that.. no one.

FYI - Muse is highly influenced by the band Queen. Brain May, lead guitarist of Queen and Roger Taylor, drumer for Queen have both commented that Adam Lambert is a phenomenally great singer. and they hope to work with him in the future. The whole music industry is on fire about Adam because of his remarkable vocal ability. Adam will be no fly by night artist. He is amazing and if you love Muse, you should at least listen to understand why they offered Adam this song.

Adam is more than capable of holding his own with ANY performer out there in both vocal ability and stage presence. He is being praised by countless people in the entertainment industry because they are aware of just how RARE a talent like Adam’s is. Don’t judge him based on your poor opinion of American Idol, or you will be sorely mistaken & will be left standing with egg on your face. I promise you that Adam is no flash in the pan, & will become one of the great ICONS of this century.

We will just have to wait and see.

Holy shit he didn’t even WIN American Idol? Pre-sales mean fuck all. He’ll sell a lot in the first one or two weeks, then the next week he’ll drop to 90th, then off the charts and we’ll never hear from him again like all those other American Idol “winners”. Muse is better then this.

  10. magsmagenta on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

Now you’re just being ignorant and predudiced, and he didn’t win, he was the runner up. Though you wouldn’t think it to look at his pre-sales.

  11. stgm on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

Ah, thats a little better. But why would they give it to an AMERICAN IDOL winner? He’s going to do absolutely nothing, and his 15 minutes of fame were up the second that season won.

Couldn’t they give it to someone with more credibility or staying power. Like the fucking Jonas Brothers or something?

    is beautiful

Two notable performances being ‘Come to Me’ from Brigadoon, and ‘Heaven on their minds’ from Jesus Crist Superstar.
In the Finale of American Idol he sang with Kiss and Queen, Brian May being particularly impressed with him. All of this is avaliable on U-Tube, Further information avaliable from The Adam Lambert Reference Centre which can be Googled.

TheAdamBombs have some very good videos, he also did Whole Lotta Love, which is remarkable in itself because it’s the first time Led Zepplin have ever given permission for an American Idol to use one of their songs, Mad World and a David Bowie Medely.
I would also recommend that you search his Pre Idol work in the Upright Cabaret, and the Zodiac Show, particularly ‘Change is Gonna Come’ which he also did a version of on Idol.
He has done a lot of work in Musical Theatre,

It might come as a surprise to UK muse fans but Muse are still considered obscure by the Americans so he has introdused Muse to a lot of new fans over there.
If you want to be more specific you could search his live version of ‘Starlight’ on the tour.

  17. magsmagenta on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

Muse aren’t covering him, they had a song left over from the ‘Resistance’ album which they have passed to him for his new album which is due for release 23/11/09, this is probably because he used their arrangement of ‘Feeling Good’ on American Idol, and also sang ‘Starlight’ on the ‘American Idols’ tour. As you might have guessed he is a big fan.

  18. stgm on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

so he’s nobody. Why the fuck is Muse covering an AMERICAN IDOL “winner”?

  19. magsmagenta on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

Just type his name in the search box, there are loads of vids.

This is beautiful - Bellamy is indeed a talented musician, writer and composer. However, something about Mr. Lambert’s voice thrills me and I just can’t wait to hear his version of this. Such a win/win for both of them, and so happy for Adam that he gets to sing this song from his favorite band.

  21. josephXbliss on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

yeah. your opinoopn. i think bellamy kicks adams ass. bellamy can not only sing, he plays guitar, piano, keytar, and composes. and i think Bellamy has ALOT more talent than lambert. he did actually wrtie his own songs… unlike lambert.

  25. givetherabbitsumtrix on November 8th, 2009 12:47 am

NO ONE is greater than muse!!!
even adam lambert. and i love adam lambert but MUSE IS THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!! :D :D But everyone has different taste and i respect that. (Muse is still amazing though. nothing will change that) :)
