Coffee aficionados in the Philippines believe they have struck gold with a specific bean that comes out naturally from civet cats once digested.

The cats love eating a particular type of bean that locals believe adds to the flavour. Collecting their droppings has become a lucrative business.

Al Jazeera’s Marga Ortigas reports.

note to self: don’t eat anything from Manilla — not the coffee, not the ‘lemonade.’

Do beautiful wealthy young blond women in California drink cat-sh*t coffee? I would really like to see that. I would take pictures of that & keep it on my desk at work…..There are many lessons in just such a picture.

Just imagine that for a moment: it really takes one’s breath away.

The animal eat coffee and the dropping is the coffee seed which is not digested, same stuff but just better quality bean.

No offence… but that is disgusting and unsanitary. There is a chance you could get something. Especially with the ability of viruses and bacteria able to adapt and afflict other species.
